Private equity firm Business Growth Fund (BGF) has announced a €3m ($3.65m) investment in online wood kitchen worktops retailer Direct Online Services (DOS).

Both the companies involved in the deal are based in the UK.

Canada-based The Tinley Beverage Company (formerly Quia Resources) has announced plans to raise C$2.5m ($1.9m) through private placement of units priced at C$0.17 ($0.12) each.

A hemp-oil infused beverages producer, the company plans to use the funds towards sales and marketing, and product development.
