Online beauty product retailer Memebox Corporation has raised $65.95m in a Series C funding round in order to expand its business operations.
The funding round was led by US-based venture capital firm Formation Group, while other venture capital firms Pejman Mar Ventures and Goodwater Capital also participated in the round. The latter two are also existing investors in Memebox.
Based in South Korea, Memebox employs 250 people.
Chinese online fruit seller Shanghai Fruitday has raised CNY100m ($15.02m) from venture financing companies.
The Series D+ funding round was managed by Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Development, a Chinese real estate investor, developer, manager and operator.
Shanghai Fruitday already completed a Series D funding round to raise $100m in March.
The latest funds will be used to expand its market, launch new products and add supply chains.
OnArt Quest, an Indian company that operates art discovery online platform Mojarto.com, has raised $450,000 in first round of funding.
The company’s e-commerce platform curates proprietary artwork and collectibles from a number of sources including galleries, artists, brands, stores and designers.
