Boyd Group Income Fund (BGIF) subsidiary The Boyd Group has reached an agreement with Assured Automotive and related entities to purchase their assets and business.

The purchase consideration for the transaction is C$193.6m ($143.89m), which will include C$146.1m ($108.58m) in cash and C$47.5m ($35.3m) in BGIF units.

All the companies involved in the transaction are based in Canada.

BGIF is a mutual fund trust, whereas the selling companies and Boyd Group operate collision repair centres.
