Dollar General plans to construct five new stores in the US state of North Dakota.
When the stores open next year, the company will have its presence in 44 states across the country.
Dollar General CEO Todd Vasos said: “Expanding our footprint into North Dakota provides Dollar General an opportunity to not only deliver value and convenience to additional customers in the upper Midwest, but to also serve communities through our mission of Serving Others.
“Meeting our customers’ needs is our top priority when choosing store locations and we look forward to being a long-standing business partner in the state, as well as welcoming new customers into our stores when these projects are completed next spring.”
Two stores will open at Dickey County, one each at Richland County, Traill County and Sargent County.
The five outlets will have approximately 9,100ft² of building space and 7,400² in sales floor space.
