DFW’s Latin themed supermarket, El Rio Grande Latin Market, is set to open its new store in Mesquite, Texas, US.

To open on 8 February, the store is located between Galloway and Hwy 80, at N. Galloway Ave, and has created approximately 200 local jobs.

The 48,000ft² store is expected to increase access to fresh, healthy and traditional Latino foods for the community.

El Rio Grande Latin Market's newest store will stock healthy alternatives from fresh fruits and juices to traditional ‘Carnitas’ and spices, as well as traditional Latino-inspired dishes.

The company further added that the new store will also have full-service fresh meat and seafood departments, in addition to a bakery offering of traditional Hispanic fresh breads.

The fresh produce department will focus on supporting local growers.
