Footwear brand Skechers USA has launched a new mobile application to improve customers' shopping experience through e-commerce and its retail stores.

Footwear brand Skechers USA has launched a new mobile application to improve customers' shopping experience through e-commerce and its retail stores.

Available for iOS and Android devices, the app is designed to allow shoppers to purchase footwears from anywhere in the US. Users can use this app to view the latest commercials, locate the nearby store, and discover offers.

The app also provides a barcode search feature to order additional sizes and colours that are not available in nearby stores.

With the Skechers mobile app, shoppers can avail complete access to their individual Skechers Elite account to earn, track and redeem rewards. It also offers an easy one-touch checkout through Apple Pay or Android Pay, thereby making purchases easy, fast and more convenient.

Skechers president Michael Greenberg said: “The retail environment has shifted as an increasing number of millennial and post-millennial consumers seek out the most convenient, informative, and streamlined shopping experiences.

“By encouraging engagement, we hope to drive excitement for the brand and make it easy for men and women to purchase that perfect pair when they discover it online or out in the world.”

The new app comes with a social media component that enables shoppers to share their images in their Skechers look.

The app was developed in partnership with an engineering team at PredictSpring, and can be downloaded from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
