FutureProof Retail collaborates with Bizerba North America to deliver mobile self-scanning and ordering capabilities for grocery retailers.

Both firms are aiming for a reliable and user-friendly digital package for grocery stores and their customers.

The mobile package combines Bizerba's digital retail scales and FutureProof Retail's mobile software to make shopping easier, faster and better for both shoppers and retailers.

The new capabilities can be turned on in a majority of Bizerba's retail scales through an update to the PowerScale software. Customers can make use of the Bizerba scales to buy weighted items with mobile self-scanning, as well as order prepared foods.

Retail staff can use their existing scales to fulfill the order, to monitor the store and carry out convenient and secure checkouts.
