Global luxury retailer Harvey Nichols is expanding its overseas footprint with a new store in Doha, Qatar, which will open in 2017.
The Qatar store would be Harvey Nichols eighth venture outside the UK and Ireland.
As part of the licence agreement signed with Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Group, the new Harvey Nichols outlet will come up in Doha Festival City, one of the country’s biggest malls.
The 80,000 ft2 store will offer an "exclusive edit" of fashion, beauty, childrenswear, homeware and a range of hospitality services, said the retailer.
Commenting on the development, Harvey Nichols chief executive Stacey Cartwright said: "Doha is an exciting market for Harvey Nichols due to the significant growth we are seeing in the country.
"The Qatari customer is increasingly important to our UK business and we look forward to being able to service them in their home market, with the best shopping and dining experience, when we open our doors for business."
