

Home furnishings retailer Ikea has unveiled plans to open a store in Columbus, Ohio, US.
To be located at the northeastern corner of Interstate-71 and Gemini Place in the Polaris Centers of Commerce, this store will open between June and August.
The firm has begun recruitment for 250 jobs at the store.
Positions are offered in sales, interior design/visual merchandising, customer service, safety and security, cashiers, facility management, warehouse receiving, and stock replenishment.

The 354,000ft² Ikea’s Columbus outlet is currently under construction on a 33-acre area of Polaris Centers of Commerce
Besides offering 10,000 designed items, the store will feature 50 room-settings, three model home interiors, and children’s play area, as well as 450-seat restaurant serving Swedish specialties.
This outlet will also install rooftop solar arrays.
Ikea currently has more than 390 stores in 48 countries, including 43 in the US.
