IKEA

IKEA is set to open a store in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, later this month.

To be opened on 18 May, the branch will become the Swedish company’s first store and restaurant destination in Nevada, and its 42nd store in the US.

Built on 26 acres, IKEA will feature 1,300 parking spaces.

The store will be located at the northern side of the 215 Beltway at S. Durango Drive, near Sunset Road.

It will feature the state’s single-use retail rooftop solar array, which appear at 90% of its US locations.

"We want customers waiting in line to visit our store to enjoy the unique experience too."

The store will offer home furnishings, warehouse picking, home-delivery, assembly, and kitchen planning and installation services.

Its 450-seat restaurant will offer a diverse menu such as the popular IKEA Swedish meatballs, seafood plates, pasta, chicken, salads, sandwiches, and vegetarian dishes too.

IKEA Las Vegas store manager Amy Jensen said: "Just as the IKEA store concept will introduce a new way of shopping for the home, we want customers waiting in line to visit our store to enjoy the unique experience too."
