US-based luxury fashion brand Lafayette 148 New York has opened two new stores in Miami, Florida, in order to expand its presence in the country.

The stores are located in Bal Harbour Shops and Brickell City Centre.

Lafayette 148 New York chief executive officer and co-founder Deirdre Quinn said: "Miami is one of the strongest markets for Lafayette 148 New York and this is a great opportunity for us to build our brand exposure."

In addition to the latest fashion, the new stores feature one-on-one personal stylists, expert fittings and alterations.

The Bal Harbour Shops location is claimed to have an interactive feel, highlighting mobile and interchangeable fixtures.

This outlet has minimal design, allowing better display of the collections.

Inspired by the interiors of the retailer's headquarters, the 2,139ft² Brickell store features custom-made displays, finishings, and furniture.

The retailer chose Brickell City Centre due to its existing partnership with developers Swire Properties, through their store in the Tai Koo Li mall in Chengdu, China.
