Coty has announced its plans to acquire hair styling products manufacturer and retailer Jemella (doing business as Good Hair Day) from private equity firm Lion Capital for €420m ($511.72m).
Both Good Hair Day and Lion Capital are based in the UK.
Coty is a fragrances, colour cosmetics and skincare product manufacturer and distributor based in the US. The acquisition will help the company to expand its hair care business.
Good Hair Day will operate under Coty’s beauty division.
US-based toys and consumer goods manufacturer JAKKS Pacific has announced the acquisition of Singapore-based kids makeup and skincare products manufacturer C’est Moi.
The acquisition will help JAKKS Pacific to expand its product portfolio beyond the toy market.
