M&As this week: Halfords Group, TVS Automobile Solutions, SD Perfume

Halfords Group, a UK retailer of bicycles and car parts, has purchased Tredz and Wheelies Direct for $26.66m, in order to strengthen its online presence for premium bikes.

Halfords Group, a UK retailer of bicycles and car parts, has purchased Tredz and Wheelies Direct for $26.66m, in order to strengthen its online presence for premium bikes.

Tredz and Wheelies Direct were founded by Keith Jones and Michael Jones and have approximately 250 employees.

Upon completion of the transaction, Tredz and Wheelies will continue to run as standalone companies.

TVS Automobile Solutions, a subsidiary of TVS Group, has gained a majority interest in Storeji.

Storeji (jazzmyride) provides a range of automotive accessories and spares online.

"Upon completion of the transaction, Tredz and Wheelies will continue to run as standalone companies."

TVS Automobile Solutions is an aftermarket service provider based in India.

A 30% interest in SD Perfume Holdings has been acquired by iBosses Corporation for $0.43m.

Based in Australia, iBosses Corporation offers training services on entrepreneurship. Singapore firm SD Perfume sells a range of branded perfumes.

Japanese merchant company Belluna has increased its stake to 100% in Maimu to enter the country's kimono industry.

As part of the transaction, Belluna has acquired 16,588 shares in Maimu from an individual.

TSI Holdings has purchased a 70% interest in Laline JAPAN in order to strengthen its ability to manage and control its brand portfolio in the fashion industry.

Laline JAPAN offers products such as perfumes, apparel, cosmetics, and soaps.
