Halfords Group, a UK retailer of bicycles and car parts, has purchased Tredz and Wheelies Direct for $26.66m, in order to strengthen its online presence for premium bikes.
Tredz and Wheelies Direct were founded by Keith Jones and Michael Jones and have approximately 250 employees.

Upon completion of the transaction, Tredz and Wheelies will continue to run as standalone companies.
