South Africa-based international retail holding company Steinhoff International Holdings has purchased more than 61 million shares from Poundland Group, acquiring a 22.78% stake in the company.
Poundland Group is a UK-based single price value general merchandise value retailer in Europe.
Steinhoff International Holdings intends to grow its business across Europe through the acquisition.
US-based domestic merchandise retail stores operator Bed Bath & Beyond has taken over American online furnishing retailer One Kings Lane.
Following the deal, Bed Bath & Beyond’s products will be endorsed on One Kings Lane website, offering more exposure and reach ability to the company.
Johnson Health Tech plans to further grow its business in the US by taking over Leisure Fitness Equipment, including its 27 stores situated along the East Coast. An agreement for the same has been signed between the two companies.
Johnson Health is a Taiwanese fitness equipment company, whereas Leisure Fitness Equipment is an American company offering retail and commercial gym equipment.
