US-based fashion retailer Nordstrom is set to open a new Nordstrom Rack store at Cascade Station in Portland, Oregon.

The 120-acre Cascade Station development is located northeast of downtown Portland and yields 800,000ft² of retail space, 1.2 million ft2 of office space and 250 hotel rooms.

The 28,000ft² Nordstrom Rack store is scheduled to open this year and will join other retailers such as Marshall's, DSW, HomeGoods, Best Buy, Ikea and Target.

Nordstrom Rack president Karen McKibbin said: "We're excited to grow our presence in Portland with a new store at Cascade Station.

"We've had our eye out for the right location here for a while, and we look forward to delivering better convenience for our customers who live in, and visit, the northeast side of Portland."
