Office supplies and business products provider Office Depot is set to launch same-day delivery service towards the end of this month in Atlanta, Georgia; and Los Angeles, California; and in the first week of next month in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, Florida, US.
The service will be implemented by logistics company Deliv, which specialises in providing same-day delivery and returns for omnichannel retailers, local businesses and e-commerce companies.
Through the service, Office Depot intends to meet customer needs and improve the shopping experience by providing its products and services through an omnichannel platform.
Office Depot CEO Gerry Smith said: “With our new same-day delivery and our omnichannel approach, we are utilising our retail stores as assets and part of our supply chain to give our customers the best possible experience.”
Customers will not be charged for the delivery service for a limited time as part of an introductory offer.
They can choose the delivery times and locations, as well as being able to track their purchases in real-time.
