US-based pet retailer PetSmart has opened a new store in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Located at 430 Willian Hilton Parkway, the store features PetSmart’s new Pinnacle Pet Nutrition section, an expanded collection of pet food products featuring natural, grain-free, minimally processed and raw pet food.

The retailer claimed that this food type is the fastest growing in the overall pet food category and comprises brands such as Only Natural Pet, a natural pet brand featuring paleo-inspired natural foods and wholesome high-protein recipes that are dehydrated, freeze-dried and air-dried.
PetSmart is the exclusive retailer for Only Natural Pet.
As part of the new store promotion, the pet retailer offered mystery gift cards valuing from $5 to $50 to the first 50 shoppers. Customers also received free giveaways such as T-shirts, pet treat samples, pet toys and discount coupons.
The new store is spread across 18,000ft², offering owners a comprehensive line of products.
The new store also provides services such as pet training and adoption services, as well as a full-service grooming salon.
PetSmart currently has approximately 55,000 employees at more than 1,500 pet stores in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.
