US-based luxury retailer Saks Fifth Avenue will open two stores in Toronto, Canada, making its debut in the territory with an array of designer assortments.
The first store, which spans 163,000ft2 in Eaton Centre at Queen Street, is expected to open on 18 February 2016. The second store which occupies an area of 150,000ft2 in Sherway Gardens is slated to open on 25 February 2016.
Both the stores will offer an array of luxury brands. They will offer full-line women’s designer ready-to-wear, designer handbag range, latest beauty products and expansive men’s offerings with a complete custom-made lounge.
An extensive array of shoe selection will also be available at the two stores with 10022-SHOE, which is Saks Fifth Avenue’s own-label of women’s designer shoe salon that will exhibit a wide range of designer brands.
The stores will also house The Fifth Avenue Club, which is Saks Fifth Avenue’s personal shopping and styling service. The Club will offer expert personal shoppers who will provide custom-based services with access to private suite, refreshments and more.
Saks Fifth Avenue Eaton Centre at Queen Street and Sherway Gardens will also feature luxury hair and beauty salon, John Barrett. The salon will offer clients international styling options with luxurious experiences.

By GlobalDataSaks Fifth Avenue intends to introduce The Personal Shopping Experience to Canadian customers through these new stores. The personalized shopping service begins with a Saks Fifth Avenue-branded Mercedes-Benz, accompanied by a personal shopper, who travels to a client’s home or office. The personal shopper brings merchandise specifically selected for the client. The amenities of the service include styling, beauty consultations and tailoring.
The stores will also house Saks Food Hall by Pusateri’s, spread over 21,000ft2 in Eaton Centre at Queen Street and 18,500ft2 in Sherway Gardens, offering international food products, gourmet prepared foods and full-service experiences.
Canadian restaurant chain Oliver & Bonacini will introduce distinctive restaurant concepts at each of the location. The restaurant and bar in the Eaton Centre store will occupy three floors at 11,000ft2 at the corner of Yonge and Richmond Streets, while the Sherway Gardens restaurant, will span 5,500ft2.
