Sam’s Club is set to open its new club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US, this week.
This outlet will replace the one located on Calumet Road, which opened in 1991.
Scheduled to open on 4 August, the new outlet will be situated at 8050 North 124th Street.
Sam's Club manager Dan Jenkins said: “Our new club will have a lot more of those local products that our community loves.”
The new branch will also be one of the first clubs in the US to offer Scan & Go shopping, which provides members with a faster checkout process and UPC code scanning as they load items into their carts. Once they are ready to check out, they can pay directly through their phone from anywhere in the club, bypassing the checkout line.
This Milwaukee outlet will also offer a convenient drive-thru service called Club Pickup, which enables members to order items online ahead of time and have them ready for pick up the next day at no additional cost.
Club Pickup also features a mobile check-in option, which notifies the club when members are on their way to pick up the order.
A unit of Wal-Mart Stores, Sam’s Club is a membership warehouse club with 654 branches in the US and Puerto Rico.
