Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions has launched its Global Care Flex configurable hardware services solutions, as part of its client services range.

Toshiba claimed that its Global Care Flex will enable a retailer’s store technology to operate smoothly, which will subsequently boost customer satisfaction and reduce downtime.

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions senior VP and general manager for client services Steve Petruk said: “Toshiba is focused on adding value for our global customer base and to prospective new customers through the provision of total solutions for a best-in-class experience.

“Our new Global Care Flex service offering enables simpler, easier and more flexible options to ensure critical hardware support for stores.”

“Our new Global Care Flex service offering enables simpler, easier and more flexible options to ensure critical hardware support for stores.”

The company noted that as hardware service is an integral part of a total POS solution, Global Care Flex will add more value as it offers multi-level maintenance plans and total product support services.

The new Global Care Flex service will also provide retailers with the option of selecting a simple pre-defined configurable service purchased together with hardware by using a pricing and ordering process.

Depending on a retailer’s requirements, the configurable service can be defined by particular characteristics including duration, type of service, response time and hours of coverage.
