Technology repair and services brand uBreakiFix has opened a new store in Metairie, Louisiana, US, marking the company's 275th outlet.

The retailer repairs and services electronic products such as mobile devices, computers, drones and hoverboards.

Founded in 2009 by Justin Wetherill and David Reiff, uBreakiFix repairs devices with cracked screens, water damage, software issues, camera issues and other technical problems.

"Metairie is a strong business community and felt like a perfect fit for our second New Orleans area location."

Former Nexstar founder and chief executive officer Mike Melito is the owner of the new store and plans to open a total of four stores in New Orleans, along with four in Baton Rouge.

Melito said: "Metairie is a strong business community and felt like a perfect fit for our second New Orleans area location."

The new store increases the number of stores of uBreakiFix in Louisiana to three.
