Wayfair announced that it is offering the Apple Pay web checkout option with iOS 10, enabling customers to make easy, secure and private one-touch payments using Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

According to the online home furnishings and décor retailer, this facility will make shopping Wayfair’s catalogue of more than seven million products easier for customers.

Wayfair chief product and marketing officer Ed Macri said: “We have always been committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience no matter how consumers choose to shop.

“We are delighted to bring Apple Pay on the web to our consumers this fall. The availability of Apple Pay at checkout in Safari will add a new level of convenience for customers who shop Wayfair.com, Joss & Main and AllModern on iPhone, iPad and Mac.”

Users of iPhone 7, iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus already benefit from Apple Pay support on the Wayfair, Joss & Main and AllModern mobile apps.

Apple Pay on the online platform will enable secure purchases for even more customers. It removed the need to re-enter shipping and billing information, thereby making secure checkout even quicker and easier.
