Global enterprise software solutions firm PDI is set to open a regional centre of excellence in Bangkok, Thailand, to provide improved service to local customers.

The technology firm will use the new facility to support and strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new office is located at the 208 Wireless Road Building in downtown Bangkok and will officially open on 26 July.

In addition, the company will use its Bangkok office to support its global expansion in more than 50 countries.

PDI CEO Jimmy Frangis said: “PDI has always been dedicated to holistically serving the needs of convenience retailers and petroleum wholesalers to help them run their business better, keep pace with industry changes and thrive in today’s digital economy.

“We’re excited to make this investment with a new, modern office and create a world-class workplace for our employees.”

The technology firm is also looking to make use of new talent to accelerate innovation, as well as assist convenience retailers and petroleum wholesalers with next-generation solutions.

Furthermore, the centre will allow the company to establish strong relationships with customers in petroleum wholesale and logistics industries globally.

PDI managing director and sales vice-president Sin Hin Wong said: “This country has a tech-savvy consumer market and a government that supports the technology sector through its Thailand 4.0 initiative.

“We are thrilled to help stimulate job creation and economic growth within this community and foster strong relationships with local businesses. We hope our presence in Bangkok demonstrates our high confidence in this region’s future.”
