US-based e-commerce solution provider REGO Payment Architectures (REGO) has partnered with Crowd Cart, a company specialising in blockchain and cryptocurrencies, to form the new ZOOM Payment Solutions joint venture (JV).
To be located in Bentonville, Arkansas, the JV will specialise in mobile payment applications, blockchain solutions and cryptocurrencies for the retail sector.

REGO CEO David Knight said: “I am excited at the opportunity of extending our Mobile Payments capability into blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
“Our Code Base, Patents and COPPA compliant Oink payments app for parents and children will be leveraged to develop new payment platforms, for new target markets, with retail-focused cryptocurrencies. It extends our financial runway into new revenue streams and market opportunity.”
As part of the new agreement, Crowd Cart will work directly with REGO and its own clients to manage Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), mine the cryptocurrency, develop the payments infrastructure and handle the digital exchange.
