Variety discount retailer Tokmanni is set to broaden its presence in Finland with the launch of two new stores at Söderkulla in Sipoo, and at Pälkäne.
The Söderkulla store is located on the Uusi Porvoontie road, surrounded by community amenities such as a skatepark, sports facilities, a church, a school, a daycare centre and a bus station.

The Pälkäne store also has a prime location near Highway 12 and the Taukopaikka Aapiskukko service station.
To open on 11 April 2024, the two stores will feature a wide range of products with a focus on clothing, interior decoration, home improvement, detergents, beauty, health and wellbeing products, cleaning products and seasonal items, and will include shop-in-shop departments for Click Shoes.
The Sipoo store will also house a shop-in-shop department for Tokmanni’s Miny lifestyle brand.

The stores will enable purchases to be made through the Tokmanni Tukku B2B sales function and the Tokmanni Klubi loyalty programme.
Additional services at the stores include online order pickup and cash withdrawal at checkout.
The two Tokmanni stores will be equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting and offer recycling points for electrical and electronic equipment waste to support sustainability.
Tokmanni sales and supply chain vice-president Timo Heimo said: “We are very pleased to bring our low prices and diverse product range to Sipoo and Pälkäne for the first time.
“People in both municipalities have been hoping for a Tokmanni store for a long time, so our opening will generate a great deal of interest among local residents and other people who do their shopping in these municipalities.”
Tokmanni has also secured agreements to open new stores in Eurajoki and Nikkilä in Sipoo, and has purchased land in Sodankylä for future expansion.
In July 2023 , Tokmanni agreed to acquire Swedish discount retail chain Ahlberg-Dollarstore AB and Ahlberg Dollarstore ApS.
