UK supermarket chain Waitrose & Partners is set to extend its Rapid Delivery trial to Bath and Hove in the UK.
The extension follows a successful pilot of the service in London. Launched in September last year, the service will now be available in Bath from 8 July, Hove starting 8 and 15 July respectively.
To use the service, customers can add up to 25 grocery items from the retailer’s portfolio of more than 2,000 products. The products will then be delivered to their home or office, within two hours or less or on the same day.
Waitrose is adding 58 London postcodes, including Battersea, High Street Kensington, Bayswater, Victoria and Kingston to the service.
Waitrose & Partners business development head Nicola Waller said: “Waitrose Rapid Delivery has had a really encouraging start, allowing us to provide even greater convenience and flexibility to work around shoppers’ busy lifestyles.
“There is a growing number of customers who want to get their shopping as and when they want it which gives us a great opportunity to continue testing the appetite for the service in new locations both inside and outside of London.”
