Woolworths has partnered US-based delivery platform DoorDash as it moves to broaden its grocery fulfilment options across Australia.

The Australian retailer states that the collaboration will become part of its existing On Demand services.

These delivery options now represent 40% of all Woolworths online orders.

Through the Woolworths app and website, customers have access to several quick-turnaround servicesL Delivery Now, which operates from more than 700 stores and is designed to deliver a complete grocery shop, and Direct to Boot Now, which enables customers to collect orders in under an hour.

Orders can also be placed through the MILKRUN app, offering delivery from more than 630 Woolworths outlets, with an average fulfilment time of 33 minutes.

Woolworths Group e-comX managing director Amitabh Mall stated:“Customers continue to look for more fast and flexible options to fulfil their grocery needs.

“Partnering with DoorDash allows us to add another convenient option that will leverage our extensive store network to reach more customers, more often, through platforms they already use every day.”

The agreement with DoorDash will allow users of the delivery app to browse and purchase Woolworths products, such as pantry items, fresh produce and household essentials.

Woolworths has also outlined plans to increase its online capacity for the Christmas 2025 period, committing to an extra one million delivery and pick-up slots during December.

DoorDash Asia Pacific (APAC) vice-president Simon Rossi added:“We’re thrilled to welcome Woolworths to DoorDash. Consumer choice is at the heart of what we do at DoorDash, and with Woolworths joining our platform, we’re more excited than ever to bring even more grocery selection to more households across the country.”

In November 2025, Woolworths Group opened its new regional distribution centre in Western Sydney, marking the completion of its A$1.3bn ($853.7m) Moorebank Logistics Precinct.
