LOTTE Mall West Lake Hanoi, located in Hanoi, Vietnam, has been developed by LOTTE Properties Hanoi, a subsidiary of South Korean conglomerate LOTTE. It was officially inaugurated in September 2023.
The mall forms part of a $643m mixed-use commercial complex that spans 7.3 hectares and includes a five-star hotel, serviced apartments and Grade A offices.
The commercial complex garnered awards in the Mixed-Use Architecture category at the Asia Pacific Property Awards for 2022-2023 and in the Commercial Planning and Design – Under Construction category at the REARD Awards.

Situated at 272 Vo Chi Cong facing the West Lake in the Tay Ho district of Hanoi, LOTTE Mall West Lake Hanoi is just 20 minutes away from the Noi Bai International Airport and four minutes from the West Lake.

LOTTE Mall West Lake Hanoi extends over seven levels, with five above-ground and two subterranean floors, covering an area of 354,000m². It houses retail spaces, artistic venues, a cinema and an aquarium, among other facilities.
The mall’s facade features a unique pixelated design composed of staggered box-like volumes. Outdoor terraces are created on multiple levels with expansive outdoor spaces for open-air dining.
Retail offerings at LOTTE MALL West Lake Hanoi
The mall is home to international brands and high-class cosmetics such as Charles & Keith, Zara, Estee Lauder, Lacoste and the Body Shop.
Sports and footwear brands at the mall include Nike, Skechers, Adidas, Fila and Vans.
Pierre Cardin, GAP, Maxx&Co, Pinko and Boss are among the brands available at the mall.
The mall is also home to stores such as Gom Chi, FOH & FRIEND, Pure de Pet, My Kingdom and Audrey Nail.
LOTTE Mart West Lake, a supermarket brand of LOTTE Mart, is also present and is the brand’s 16th supermarket in Vietnam.
Entertainment facilities
The LOTTE MALL West Lake Hanoi features the 1,300m² Champion 1250 adventure sports playground. Funtopia is an entertainment complex for kids and teenagers, offering a variety of play activities.
The KidZania career area provides children with opportunities to experience real-world jobs through learning and play.
Other entertainment facilities include Tiniworld, Cheapie Art, Hobiverse, OGAWA and the Nsquare Creative Learning Center.
The LOTTE Cinema has more than 1,000 seats and nine screening rooms equipped with modern equipment.
Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi, the largest indoor aquarium in the region, is another attraction at the mall. Covering an area of 9,094m², the aquarium is home to 400 species and more than 30,000 marine creatures.

Dining options available at the mall include restaurants such as Chickita, Pizza 4P’S, RuNam, Saichi and Crystal Jade.
The mall also includes a food hall with food brands such as Chen Food, Igelato, Tantan Noodles Kitchen, Yukichi Ramen and Maazi.
Lotteria, Boost Juice, Chixmax, Hop! Crêpes and Mixue are among the other food brands at the mall.

The mixed-use complex was designed by Benoy, an architecture firm based in the UK.
