SPAR Scotland’s partner CJ Lang & Son is offering new click-and-collect service to provide more convenience to its trade customers amid coronavirus pandemic.
CJ Lang & Son 16,700m2 distribution centre in Dundee is providing the service with certain chilled range throughout the week.
Trade customers can avail the service through its website before 2:30pm and collect them by 6pm on the same day.
Orders made after the specified time can be collected the following day.
CJ Lang & Son CEO Colin McLean said: “During the pandemic, we have been in a fortunate position to be able to continue supplying our independent SPAR retailers with what they needed to provide communities with essential items on a daily basis.
“Our distribution team has been doing a phenomenal job and provided a number of retail businesses outside of the SPAR network with product over the past 12 weeks.
“As a result we felt we could expand on this service and provide not only our existing independent SPAR retailers with a click and collect service but also allow other retail trade customers the opportunity to order and collect from our depot in Dundee.”
SPAR Scotland is planning to enhance its click-and-collect service offering with more products in the coming weeks.
