UK-based co-operative group Co-op has opened a new purpose-built store in Saltaire, West Yorkshire.

Located on Bingley Road, Saltaire, the new 2,800ft² store has generated 16 jobs for local communities.

The store offers a broad range of chilled beers, everyday essentials, fairtrade products, fresh produce, flowers, food-to-go, pizzas, ready meals, vegan range, wines and more.

Saltaire’s new Co-op also has a free ATM, a customer car park, an in-store bakery and a Costa coffee dispenser.

Additionally, the store offers parcel collection services from Amazon and DPD and online grocery delivery services through Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.

Co-op store manager Craig Watson said: “The store looks fantastic and we are delighted to move into our new home and ‘serve up’ a brand new store for the community. The team is very excited, we have been looking forward to relocating and can’t wait to welcome our Members and customers into their new and improved store.
