US-based omnichannel retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods is all set to open four new stores across the country this month.

One store will be opened in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and another in Mesquite, Texas.

The sports goods retailer will also be opening two stores in Florida.

By opening four new stores, Dick’s Sporting Goods is planning to create approximately 290 jobs in four communities.

“At Dick’s, we believe that sports make people better and bring them together.”

The company will be hiring full-time, part-time and temporary associates for these stores.

With the addition of these four new stores, Dick’s Sporting Goods will now have 725 retail outlets spread across 47 states in the US.

Dick’s Sporting Goods senior vice-president and chief marketing officer Scott Hudler said: “At Dick’s, we believe that sports make people better and bring them together.

“We’re excited to grow our presence within St. Petersburg, Lancaster, Pace and Mesquite to better serve the athletes and outdoor enthusiasts in these communities.”

At its new stores, Dick’s Sporting Goods will be offering a wide range of apparel and footwear collection including its own private brands, such as CALIA by Carrie Underwood, Field & Stream and Ethos.

The store will also feature collection offered by other vendors including NIKE, Under Armour and adidas.
