US-based online grocery delivery service Instacart has partnered with specialty retailer The Fresh Market, to offer personal shopping and home delivery service from the retailer’s 161 stores.

Customers can place orders via the retailer’s online website or the Instacart mobile app. To place an order, customers select a delivery city and store, add groceries to their cart, and choose a delivery window between one hour and five days before checking out.

“We are proud to partner with fresh-focused specialty retailer The Fresh Market to bring their carefully curated products to all of their loyal customers in a new way.”

After receiving the order, an Instacart personal shopper will pick, pack and deliver the order to the customer within the selected delivery window.

Instacart retail accounts vice president Andrew Nodes said: “We are proud to partner with fresh-focused specialty retailer The Fresh Market to bring their carefully curated products to all of their loyal customers in a new way.

“Now that the delivery firm is available in all 161 stores, customers can have all the ingredients they need to prepare a memorable meal delivered directly to their door with the same exceptional service they’ve come to expect from The Fresh Market.”

The grocery delivery firm is offering the service for a fee of $3.99 for orders of $35 or more, while members of Instacart Express can access an unlimited, free delivery service for all orders of $35 and above.
