China’s online-to-offline (O2O) home decoration service provider SSLJ has entered a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese e-commerce company JD.

SSLJ entered into the agreement through JD subsidiary Beijing JD Century Trading.

With this partnership, both SSLJ and JD intend to further improve their operational efficiency, reduce operating costs and implement future market expansion strategies across the country.

“JD’s vast online retail channel will enable us to distribute SSLJ’s products in a more efficient and economical manner to meet the growing consumer demand in China.”

SSLJ chairman and chief executive officer Wei Zheng said: “We are excited about the cooperation with China’s e-commerce giant JD and the potential market that this new relationship can cultivate.

“JD’s vast online retail channel will enable us to distribute SSLJ’s products in a more efficient and economical manner to meet the growing consumer demand in China, which further is expected to drive the company’s fast expansion in e-commerce, enhance the influence of the company and build up the brand awareness of SSLJ.”

As part of the agreement, SSLJ will be distributing its own products through JD’s e-commerce platform and investing into JD’s advertising platform.

In addition to JD’s e-commerce platform, SSLJ intends to distribute its 2018 new products to JD Mall and use JD Crowdfunding platform.

On the other hand, JD will be providing resources to match target customers for SSLJ.
