A major German department store chain has contracted Norway-headquartered software company Zalaris for payroll and HR services.
The software company will offer broad payroll services, handle payroll accounting and manage HR administrative activities for the retailer’s more than 11,000 employees in the country.
Before supporting the client’s transition to a fully digital HR solution, Zalaris will initially support payroll processing of the retailer’s existing systems.
Up to the beginning of 2026, it will implement the Zalaris Peoplehub Retail Solution, which includes processes for payroll, digital personnel file, travel expenses and time management.
This transformation will digitise all HR processes using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Performance and Goals.
Zalaris Retail Services & Solutions and Zalaris Deutschland managing director Peter Martin said: “We are proud to be working with one of the leading department store chains in Germany.
